Approved by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Xiamen International R&D Base of Functional Materials with High Performance (hereinafter referred to as the Base) was established in 2010. The Base aims to promote academic exchange, expand international influence and speed up talent cultivation and local economy through international collaboration. It mainly focuses on the field of metal materials with high performance and organic polymer materials. The Base has conducted collaborations in various fields with TohokuUniversity (Japan) and Université Montpellier II ( France), such as cultivating joint graduates, publishing academic paper jointly and applying for scientific research projects together. Certain essential collaboration has been carried out between the Base and the universities and scientific research institutes from both France and Japan. To date, we have applied for 9 projects and cultivated 7 graduates jointly and have dispatched 7 undergraduates and 1 teacher for further study. And we have published 78 papers and applied for 18 patents jointly with the collaborators.
